WHY IS THIS SHOP INTERESTING TO VIEW?

Eataly is the largest Italian food and wine marketplace created by Oscar Farinetti who opened his first groundbreaking concept store in Turin. This giant high-end foodstore transformed the glass-domed Air Terminal into its largest outlet. The four-story complex brings 15.800 m2 of artisanal Italian food to Rome.

Besides retail space this Eataly contains 18 casual restaurants and cafes, a coffee roaster, a brewery and even a travel agency, all within a space that resembles an upscale food court.

Eataly sells fresh and packed food of the highest quality from all over Italy. Luxury here means the possibility of purchasing those products one hardly finds, sourced from a selection of the best Italian food producers. Throughout Eataly, shoppers are confronted with a combination of artisanal and industrial products.

Escalators deliver visitors to various dining and drinking spaces, the most exciting of which is the Birreria, where Baladin, Birra del Borgo, and DogFish Head are collaborating to brew beers on site. A fine selection of quality craft brews is sold, in addition to a number of industrial brands, a rule that applies to the store’s offerings at large.
